Artist Statement: This is the Phoenix Garden of Hope. The phoenix rises to every challenge, resilient against all obstacles, soaring with a renewing light. The lotus flower emerges from the deep darkness to gloriously bloom year after year. The chrysanthemum of joy and peony of love surround the east and west as the poppy field flourishes behind. With love, joy, wisdom and resilience, we can carry our light and proudly shine.
