the thing is more

2024

Artist Statement: I have constructed a miniature world encompassing the concept of making things, and people, more. The piano player hands (in the upper middle) are the dominant image while the remaining images assume a subordinate place around the hands as if in a state of planetary dependance. The viewer is called upon to play the piano, or at least think about playing, and in doing that, contemplate the thought and feeling of art as activity.
