About the piano
Location: 28 Liberty Plaza, 28 Liberty St, New York, NY Hours: 9AM - 9PM Click here for full map of all Sing for Hope Piano locations. This year, my piano is inspired by the Mexican tiles and climbing bougainvillea of my childhood in Southern California. Using a combination of paint and tissue paper collage, I have modeled the piano after a decorative wall or fountain, like you might find all over the American southwest and Mexico. The piano is covered in blue and white (paper) tiles, with a large pink and red cloud of bougainvillea climbing up the side and cascading over the top.
