Havana Colors
In the project Havana Colors, I rediscover the essence of color presence—however, what defines presence is no longer explainable. Color, lines after lines, distance, desire, the locus of the image, and volume do the explanation. All these characteristics come together simultaneously, equally, and in terms of each other, in some sense having nothing to do with the way color behaves or represents itself in the shared world of experience.
