Vibrant NYC-area arts organization creating innovative artistic work can increase their reach, diversify their audiences
and demonstrate their organization’s relevance, vitality, and civic spirit as a Sing for Hope Cultural Partner.

 

VOLUNTEER

SING FOR HOPE WILL:

 

  • Connect you with one or more community partner sites serving under – resourced populations that lack access to the arts.
  • Handle coordination and logistics of your arts outreach engagements.
  • Assess, report, and provide for your organization your own dedicated community impact metrics for use in your denor reporting, annual reports, grant-seeking, etc.
  • Promote your apperances through news releases, photo, and social media.
  • Prepare your artists before their first engagement.

AS A SING FOR HOPE CULTURAL PARTNER YOU WILL RECEIVE:

 

  • A turn-key opportunity to give back to the community and share your art without having to worry about how to make your own inroads with city agency infrastructures, partner site bureaucracies, etc (we’ve already done that for you).
  • Press and media releases demonstrating your organization’s commitment to the New York City community.
  • Exposure to new audiences.
  • Photos of your community engagement events to put in your annual report, donor communications, website, and social media.
  • A chance to do something fun and different that’s good for your brand, your artists, and the people you serve.

IN EXCHANGE, WE ASK:

 

  • For a fair-share contribution to help offset our expenses. Many of our Cultural partners find they can raise this fee with one playbill insert or curtain speech, and/or through foundation funding earmarked for community arts outreach.
  • That your organization commit to a minimum of three arts outreach engagements during the course of the year, though we think you’ll like it so much you’ll want to do more.
  • That you talk to us, share your feedback, and provide some basic metrics based on your experience (common sense stuff).
  • And, that you share all your great moments and fun photos through your social media and other communications.
