Art for Owl
My design idea came from my daughter's love of owls. I chose a Spring/Summer 2018 palette of colors, fitting for the time of year the piano would be on display. Although owls do not have teeth, there awaits a happy, musical smile as the cover is lifted and the piano keys stretch across his face.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Whitney Robertson graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Francis Marion University. After forming a career in graphic design and communications throughout the 90s to early 2000s, she eventually found herself in the nonprofit sector. Although she has been able to interweave some of her design skills with these job roles, the pace of the nonprofit world has kept her too busy to be as creative as she'd like to be. Also a single mother, she is happy to have had this opportunity to design a piano for Sing for Hope as a special project that she can work on and experience with her amazing nine-year-old daughter.
