Silly Fire Breathing Beast
I'm looking to create something tactile and dimensional. I have experimented with plastic window screen and found it to be easy to cut, transport, and shape. We added mylar under the screen because we love the shimmer it adds. I hope this beast makes you smile. We giggled through the whole process.

I use a variety of mediums in my artwork. Texture, color play, control, and compartmentalized objects inspire me. Making something from a medium that was not intended to be used in that way gives me great joy. If someone looks at something I've created, furrows their brow or smiles, then I am successful. 2018 is my third year with the Sing for Hope Pianos, and the pleasure I get when I see someone play the piano I've created is deep and satisfying. To see how it brings people together, makes them stop, look, play, or start a conversation is reason for a very worthwhile ideal. I feel blessed to be a part of this belief—Art for All.
