Sing for Hope Performs at the World Harmony Run Closing Ceremony

Sing for Hope Donor Artists Amy Justman and Brian Neff will perform at the World Harmony Run, a global event promoting international understanding, at the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (East 47th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues), near the United Nations, on Monday, August 23 in New York City. The event begins at 1:00pm.

Come support the World Harmony Run, which strives to encourage goodwill among peoples of all nations. You can join with numerous UN Ambassadors, members of the diplomatic community and World Harmony Run Coordinators from over 100 nations to launch this global event.

Also performing with Amy Justman and Brian Neff is the New York City Housing Authority Youth Chorus, led by Larry Matthew.

Founded in 1987 by the spiritual leader and world harmony visionary Sri Chinmoy to promote international understanding, the World Harmony Run is now the world’s longest global relay.  During the course, relay teams carry the World Harmony Run torch over 45,000 miles through 100 countries. Here in the US, an international team will cover 10,000 miles visiting all 50 states.
