New York Polyphony's Sing for Hope event for Pakistani flood relief

The humanitarian situation in Pakistan is growing more dire by the day.  The worst flooding the country has seen in 80 years has killed hundreds and displaced 20 million people.

Sing for Hope is pleased to announced that Donor Artists New York Polyphony are using their time and talent to aid the humanitarian relief effort.   New York Polyphony has been called one of the finest vocal ensembles of its generation, and has performed throughout the United States and around the world.  Its members include Geoffrey D. Williams, Geoffrey Silver, Craig Phillips, and Sing for Hope team member Christopher Herbert.

At the group’s performance this coming weekend at Beacon Hill Concerts in the Poconos, all proceeds from CD sales will go to Oxfam, which has already helped bring relief to an estimated 182,000 people in the north of Pakistan.  For more information on New York Polyphony and their upcoming performance, please click here.
