Volunteers needed!!
The “Street Pianos” are here and we want you to play a part! Remember Christo’s Gates? The waterfalls on the East River? The painted cows? Well, Sing for Hope’s Summertime Street Pianos take the history of public art in New York to a whole new level!
If you are a Sing for Hope supporter, whether you play the piano or not, Sing for Hope needs YOU on June 26th as an ambassador! This is your chance to play a major part in the Public Art project of the year, and to spread the word about Sing for Hope and our core value of arts as an essential part of our city.
Date: June 26
Time: 11am-5pm
Location: @ the piano nearest you! Click here to see the full list.
What: Serving as an ambassador for Sing for Hope’s street pianos. This means that you will be a buddy for a piano for a day — answering questions, handing out flyers, wearing a Sing for Hope t-shirt, and encouraging folks to have a seat and make music! (And yes, you get to keep the t-shirt!)
