For one magical evening, NYC’s iconic IAC Building transformed into a Riot of Color for David Beahm Experiences’ 20 year anniversary party benefiting Sing for Hope. And what a riot it was — dazzling color, nonstop entertainment, exquisite food, and celebration! The night’s breathtaking performances included Sing for Hope Artist Partners Lester Lynch, John McVeigh, 2018 International Opera Awards “Male Singer of the Year” Piotr Beczala (currently starring in the Met’s Luisa Miller), and Sing for Hope’s own Co-Founders Camille Zamora and Monica Yunus. The riot of entertainment also included a gospel choir, a boy band, a girl band, go-go dancers, roller skaters, contortionists, the Village People, and more, all members of visionary artist cooperative Elan Artists.
Thanks to the Eve Branson Foundation, the night’s special opportunities also included the chance to win a luxury getaway to Morocco. The lucky winner’s upcoming trip includes stays at two of the world’s top hotels, Royal Mansour, and Kasbah Tamadot, with airfare provided by Virgin Atlantic (arranged by Steele Travel).
The evening was memorable for more than its entertainment, fashion, and cuisine: funds raised will allow Sing for Hope to bring the power of the arts to 3,000 more NYC school children. Infinite thanks and congratulations to David Beahm for 20 memorable years of innovative event design, and for his generous support of Sing for Hope. And thanks to all of Sing for Hope’s friends and supporters (new and old) for joining him in making our work possible!
